Home from CAPCLAVE
I went to Capclave for the first time this weekend and took a few pictures. The hotel is right next to a fairground! I managed to limp around through a bunch of the town on a quest to find a diner.
Here are James Morrow and Scott H. Andrews from a couple of panels I attended. I was especially excited to attend a panel on Robinsonades, since I'm working on an article on crusoesque stories. There was a tremendous amount of great information there, really helpful for the article. I also got to whip out a copy of SURVIVAL MODE when one of the panelists asked why no one was writing Robinsonades to try and cash in on the success of The Martian (though I wrote it quite a while before The Martian came out).
Afrer returning home I painted a new tray of pendants. This is a new tractor paint, I have no idea if these will cure right or not. But they look good for now.
